Daiya Cheese Video Contest (I’m officially in the running) April 25, 2011

Filed under: For the animals,Products — veganthropology @ 6:35 pm

As you guys probably know from previous posts, I’m a huge Daiya cheese fan. It melts, it has no soy, and it’s vegan… what could be better. My fridge is almost never without it and I love figuring out new ways to use it. That’s why I was so insanely excited to see that they were holding a recipe contest. I was less excited when I realized I had to make a video because while I love taking pictures of film, I’m not so keen on pictures of me and video is even worse. Still, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to show a recipe from the blog in a whole new way. Plus, I have the chance to win an iPad so I could blog from virtually anywhere!!

All you have to do is go check out the recipe video at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJsrJ9pZi5w and watch my Mexican Dip recipe. If you haven’t tried it out from the blog, this will be a great way to watch how it’s done, plus you’ll be helping me to hopefully win that Ipad. The person on the site with the most views by July 15th wins so if you can refrain, try not to watch the others (I’m tapping into my rarely used competitive spirit) I’m really excited to invite you guys into my (tiny) kitchen and it turns out that being in front of a camera isn’t so bad after all (still, you’ll notice how awkward I am… I’m a writer… not an actor)! Thanks for your help and as always, thanks for reading!

    Hey, kiddo,
I’m soooooo proud of you! Those cooking days when you were little paid off! And the video was so great! You should get your own show! Only thing is that I won’t put my e-mail address on u tube so that I can comment on it. I don’t want it getting out there. Sorry, but proud of you!
